In Genesis He is the seed of the woman who has crushed the serpents head
In Exodus He is the Passover lamb
In Leviticus He is the High Priest
In Numbers He is the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night
In Deuteronomy He is the Prophet like unto Moses
In Joshua He is the captain of the armies of the Lord
In Judges He is our judge and lawgiver
In Ruth He is our kinsman redeemer
In 1 and 2 Samuel He is the ark of the covenant
In Kings and Chronicles He is the reigning King
In Ezra He is the faithful scribe
In Nehemiah He is the re-builder of the broken down walls of this life
In Esther He is the golden scepture, held out so we can enter the presence of God
In Job, He is the ever living redeemer for Job said “I know that my redeemer lives”
In Psalms He is the good shepherd
In Proverbs He is the wisdom of God
In Ecclesiastes He is the One who takes this meaningless life and gives us a future, a hope and a destiny
In Song of Songs He is the lover and the bridegroom
In Isaiah He is the prince of peace, the suffering servant and the healer
In Jeremiah He is the righteous branch
In Lamentations He is the weeping prophet
In Ezekiel He is the wonderful four faced man
In Daniel He is the fourth man in the fiery furnace
In Hosea He is our faithful husband
In Joel He is the baptiser in the Holy Ghost and fire
In Amos He is the burden bearer
In Obadiah He is the mighty to save! In Jonah He is the messenger with beautiful feet preaching the gospel
In Nahum He is the avenger of Gods elect
In Habbakuk He is the One who enables us to go on the heights
In Zepheniah He is the saviour
In Haggai He is the glory of the later house and the shaker of all nations
In Zecariah He is the fountain, open in the house of David for sin and uncleanness
In Malachi He is the Son of Righteousness with healing in His wings
In Matthew He is the Messiah, the Son of David and the Anointed Christ
In Mark He is conquering servant and the miracle worker
In Luke He is the Son of man
In John He is the Son of God! In Acts He is the giver of Holy Ghost power
In Romans He is the One who makes all things work together for those who love God
In 1 Corinthians He is sanctifier
In 2 Corinthians He is our apostle
In Galatians He is freedom from the curse
In Ephesians He is our inheritance
In Philipians He is the God who shall supply all our needs
In Colossians He is the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form
In 1 and 2 Thessalonians He is the Soon Coming King
In 1 and 2 Timothy He is the mediator between God and man
In Titus He is the faithful pastor
In Philemon He is the friend who sticks closer than a brother
In Hebrews He is the blood of the covenant
In James He is the Great Physician
In 1 and 2 Peter He is the chief shepherd who shall soon appear with a crown of glory
In 1, 2 and 3 John He is everlasting love
In Jude He is the Lord, coming with thousands upon thousands of angels
And in Revelation He is the King of kings and the Lord of lord
Who is He? He is Jesus of Nazareth
He was Abel’s sacrifice
He was Noah’s rainbow
He was Abraham’s ram
He was Jacob’s ladder
He was Isaac’s well
He was Joseph’s coat of many colours
He was Moses’ staff
He was Samson’s strength
He was Samuel’s horn of oil
He was David’s slingshot
He was John the Baptists lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world
He was Peter’s shadow
He was Paul’s handkerchief
He was the disciples teacher
He was Bartemaus’s healer
He was Zachaues’ saviour
He was Mary’s Lord
Who is He? He is Jesus the Saviour! Immanuel, God with us!
To those going through the lowly valleys’ of this life He is the lilly of the valleys and the rose of Sharon
To those going through darkness He is the bright morning star
He is the word of God
He is our rock, our fortress, our shield and our stronghold
He is Father to the orphan and a husband to the widow
He is strength for the weary, He is peace in the storm, the water from the rock, the mana from heaven
He is the pearl of great price
He is the promised land flowing with milk and honey
He is our portion and our very great reward
He is the joy of the Lord
He is the light of the world
He is the way, the truth and the life
He is the One tempted in every way like us but yet was without sin
He is the resurrection and the life
He is the rock if ages
He is the lifter of our heads
He is the King of Glory
He is the second Adam who is a life-giving Spirit
He is our righteousness, He is our brother, He is the first born from the dead!
Through Him everything was made that has been made
He is the One sent from the Father full of grace and truth
He is the everlasting Father, the mighty God, the prince of peace, the wonderful counsellor and the government of our life is on His shoulders
He is the builder of His church
He is the lover of our souls, the forgiver of our sins and the One whose yoke is easy and burden is light
He is the giver of the water of life
He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah
He was the One worthy to open the scroll
He is the author and the finisher of our faith
He has the name that is above every name
He is the One that forever declares “I am the Alpha and the Omega! I once was dead but now I am alive forever and ever! And behold I hold the keys of death and hell!”
Who is He? Jesus Christ! Son of the Living God!
