“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice He judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him that no-one knows but He himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God.
The armies of heaven were following Him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron sceptre. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On His robe and on His thigh He has this name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.” (Rev 19v11-17)
A crown is given to a monarch at their coronation, it is the sign of the extent of their rule and reign. Queen Elizabeth for example, wears the crown of Great Britain. This gives her the right to rule and regin and excerise authority and dominion over Great Britain and its commonwealth. However, she has no authority of the subjects of say, France, Italy or America. Why? She has been given the crown of Great Britain only.
However, here we have a King, who has been crowned with MANY crowns! There are no limits to His rule and reign! There are no boundaries to mark the end of His authority and dominion!
This King is unique – He has been crowned with MANY crowns! Jesus has been crowned King over sickness! Jesus has been crowned King over the devil! Jesus has been crowned King over circumstances! Jesus has been crowned King over problems! Jesus has been crowned King over lack! Jesus has been crowned King over every stronghold and barrier that would try and limit us and hold us back!
I could go on and on and on…of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end!
Whatever you face KNOW that Jesus is King! You will not face a situation this year that Jesus is not in control of! You will not face a problem that Jesus has not been crowned King over! You will not face a devil, a sickness or an obstacle that Jesus has not already defeated!
Glory to His name forever and ever and ever!
